James Yates is proud to have been part of the National Spelling Bee since 2006. In 2011, the Bee moved to its new home at the Gaylord National in Washington D.C. James Yates Production Design provided a stunning new set design for the venue that incorporated video projection, color-changing LEDs and a Spelling Hall of Champions. The annual competition is broadcast live on ESPN.
